Tales of Europe

Nov. 19–Dec. 2, 2021

“Tales of Europe is a curated touring film program dedicated to bringing prestigious European films to audiences who may never otherwise see them. We’ve selected 11 European films from, and made in, a plethora of countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, The Netherlands, Palestine, Slovak Republic, and Sweden. This program weaves together stories of the newly arrived and those who’ve been here for generations, religious persecution and religious fanaticism, music for pleasure and music for political transformation; over half the films are first features. We are so excited for the opportunity to bring these films to you!”

– Barbara Twist and Adrienne Frank, Tales of Europe Co-Programmers
