Just when 18-year-old Lola learns that she can finally have gender affirming surgery, her supportive mother dies, leaving Lola and her close-minded father to travel together to the Belgian coast. As the estranged father and daughter battle each other as well as various road trip mishaps, they may find an outcome to their journey that neither expected. The sophomore film from filmmaker Laurent Micheli (Even Lovers Get the Blues) is a moving portrayal of the complexities of family, and features the debut of actress Mya Bollaers in a fantastic performance.
