Hot to Trot Screening, Q&A & Book Talk

As part of our Out There series, we presented a special screening of Hot to Trot, Gail Freedman’s joyful documentary exploring the world of competitive same-gender ballroom dancing. The screening was followed by a Q&A and book talk with director Gail Freedman and local author Eric Rosswood, whose new children’s book, A Place to Dance: How Richard Lamberty Brought Change to the Ballroom, tells the story of a pioneering queer ballroom dancer and advocate.
