The Burns Recognized for Inclusive Employment During National Disability Employment Awareness Month

On October 14, in recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), The Nicholas Center (TNC) Westchester presented the Jacob Burns Film Center with a certificate celebrating our commitment to inclusive employment. Dave Kaufstein, Director of Program Quality and Impact at The Nicholas Center, presented the certificate to JBFC Executive Director Mary Jo Ziesel. A longtime partner of JBFC, The Nicholas Center supports individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in building essential life skills, strengthening social and communication abilities, gaining vocational training, and participating in meaningful community projects. We’re honored to receive this recognition and grateful for our continued partnership with The Nicholas Center.
