Wire Transfers
The Jacob Burns Film Center accepts gifts made through electronic funds transfer. Please contact Allie Garner at agarner@burnsfilmcenter.org or 914.773.7663 ext. 429, to receive transfer instructions and to notify us of the amount and designation of your gift.
Stock Gifts
Donating appreciated securities held for more than one year entitles you to a charitable income-tax deduction for the full market value of the shares on the date of your gift. Donors of appreciated securities avoid capital gains taxes and may use their income-tax deduction up to 30% of adjusted gross income with a five-year carryover. Consult your financial adviser to determine whether donating a stock gift is the right giving option for you.

Tribute & Memorial Gifts
You may want to consider a tribute or memorial gift to the JBFC as a way to honor or remember someone special in your life. Be sure to include the name and address of the honoree or a family member so we can inform them of your thoughtful gift. The amount of your donation is not revealed. You will also receive a formal acknowledgement by mail.
