Continuing by popular demand! These three-part seminars explore various elements of the art of film and storytelling. They are intended for filmgoers—though makers will enjoy them as well. Explore our other seminars, Elements of Film: The Oscars, Screenwriting, and Creative Nonfiction.

Elements of Film: Sound

Some say that sound is truly 50 percent of a film. You’ll learn about score, sound editing, Foley, and more in this film appreciation course.  This course will be taught by Danny Gray, an internationally awarded composer of film and television scores and Ira Spiegelan experienced film and television sound editor and designer. They will have you listening to movies in a brand new way!

This program will take place at the JBFC Theater.
