The Royal Ballet shows its contemporary side in works from three of today’s leading choreographers.Christopher Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour is based on seven couples separating and intermingling to music by Vivaldi and Bosso, lit with rich sunset colors. Crystal Pite’s Flight Pattern, danced to Górecki’s “Symphony of Sorrowful Songs,” is a moving reflection on the refugee crisis. And in between, there’s a new work by Belgian artist Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
