From producing music with Bruce Springsteen and playing guitar in the E Street Band, to his role as Silvio Dante on HBO’s The Sopranos, to the passionate activism that helped bring global attention to the Apartheid regime in South Africa, Van Zandt has always been at the center of pop culture history.
