Skating Polly: Ugly Pop

Zoom Q&A with director Henry Mortensen, moderated by JBFC Board President Janet Maslin

FREE FOR MEMBERS!

A 10-year-old and a 14-year-old form a band, and over the years, learn firsthand about the excitement and disappointment that come with making it in the music business. Henry Mortensen’s documentary follows Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse over the course of 11 years playing small local gigs to packed club shows. Think “Boyhood,” but for the next generation of free-spirited riot grrls.

This film is part of the Sounds of Summer series.
