Midnight in Paris

Shot in 2012—two years before the water crisis began—this charming, warmhearted film focuses on six Flint, Michigan, teenagers and their families as the high school students are swept up in the anticipatory joy surrounding prom. Equal parts hilarious and sobering, this collaboration between filmmakers Roni Moore and James Blagden may make you yearn for your high school days—and be just as happy that they are gone.

As of 8/19, the JBFC is vaccinated-only for all screenings and events. Masks are required and may be removed only while seated. Proof of vaccination and a photo ID must be presented for admission. Learn more here.

"It's a movie about seeing beyond the headlines and looking toward a place and its people."
K. Austin Collins, Rolling Stone
