Talking Docs Insider Email Club
Screening a range of unclassifiable docs that you won’t find in our other ongoing series, Talking Docs gives us a chance to show films we’re passionate about but haven’t been able to squeeze into our schedule—and it offers the audience the opportunity to dig in deep along with us. Hosted by Senior Programmer Andrew Jupin, this popular club is now an ongoing film series with a club option.
By signing up for the Talking Docs Insider Email Club, members will get early access to screenings, film background emails with Andrew’s insights, heads up about other upcoming docs, and an invitation to a bonus screening.

Andrew Jupin has been a part of the JBFC since 2006 and the Senior Film Programmer since 2017. He curates several series, including “Global Watch, “Retro Revival,” “Sounds of Summer,” and the annual Halloween horror marathon. Outside the Burns, Andrew is a filmmaker, having written and produced two feature films with his comedy arts collective, Private Cabin. Since 2010, he’s been the host of “We Hate Movies,” a popular film-related comedy podcast that releases new episodes each week and tours the country playing live shows.
