Science on Screen
Originating from Boston’s Coolidge Corner Theatre in 2005 in partnership with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Science on Screen has become a pioneering nationwide film program that introduces audiences of all ages to the real science behind their favorite films. Classic, cult, science fiction, documentary films and more and paired with lively presentations from experts in their fields, featuring presentations such as “Inspiring Young Entomologists” with the Greenburgh Nature center (paired with A Bug’s Life) and “A Sci-fi Vision of Conservation” by Jacob Reiter (paired with science fiction classic Silent Running).

Science on Screen is an initiative of the Coolidge Corner Theatre, with major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
