ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Arrival: Bus must arrive at the JBFC Media Arts Lab by 9:30 am.

Departure: Once the workshop is over, students must remain seated in the screening room until the bus arrives. When the bus is on site, students will be directed to exit the screening room and go straight to the bus.

POPCORN

Our concession stand will be closed, however, individual bags of popcorn will be served to students, teachers, and chaperones for all school program events. Drinks will not be served, but guests are welcome to bring their own water bottles.

We encourage students to consume and leave any previous food or drink items on the bus. Lunch will not be provided and unfortunately we do not have a space for groups of students to eat lunch after the event.

CAPACITY AND BUSING

Capacity: Please note, the maximum number of students allowed to attend one workshop is 30.

Three or four teachers/chaperones MUST accompany the students for each workshop.

Busing: Schools are responsible for booking their own transportation. The JBFC will cover the cost of one bus per experience for under-resourced schools. Schools are required to make their own bus arrangements and let the bus company know it is third party billing. All bus invoices must be sent to JBFC within 60 days after the event in order to be paid. Our organization recognizes a school as under-resourced if a minimum of 35% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Funding for subsidized buses is limited and on a first come, first served basis.

If a school will be paying for the buses and will be sending an invoice to the JBFC for reimbursement, the Jacob Burns Film Center must be listed as the customer on the invoice.

PAYMENT

The cost of this workshop is $20/student or FREE for under-resourced schools. The JBFC recognizes a school as under-resourced if a minimum of 35% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Paying schools will be sent an invoice after the event. Payment must be received within 30 days after receiving the invoice. No refunds will be issued once payment has been received.

CANCELLATIONS

If a school cancels after payment has been received, we will reschedule for the next available date. If a workshop is cancelled by the JBFC, we will reschedule for the next available date.
