What’s stopping you from being the next great YouTuber?
YouTube Channel Production 101, an exciting introduction to the YouTube platform, is your launchpad into the world of responsible digital content creation. Produce and manage short videos, explore basic channel branding, and practice internet safety, as you take your online presence to the next level.
Each student is encouraged to either bring in their own channel for workshopping or be ready to create their very own from scratch!
Students will:
- Discover what makes a great piece of content
- Practice the basics of video production and project management
- Develop and employ a strong sense of branding
- Learn to create and post online safely

Cassidy McKenna
Instructor
Cassidy “Cas” McKenna is a filmmaker and rising senior at SUNY Purchase College majoring in Film and minoring in Arts Management. She has been teaching film at the Jacob Burns Film Center to ages 8-18 since 2016. Cassidy enjoys creating short films and music videos when she’s on summer break from college to expand her portfolio and strengthen her filmmaking skills.
