Introduction to Acting Technique
Discover (or recover!) the actor within you through the gift of technique. Using scripts, script analysis, and other unique exercises, you will be on your feet with a sense of play in this free, one-night-only course.
Instructor
Ruth Nerken
Ruth Nerken (BFA, Yale University) has taught at Yale, the William Esper Studio, the Screen Actors Guild, and for the last 30 years, at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Her past students include two-time Tony Award winner Kara Young, Loren Graham, and Matt Fox. She herself has performed extensively on stage, television, radio, and in the first bus-and-truck, 2nd national company of Grease (over 50 years ago!).
