The Burns Film Challenge

Make a film in 24 hours! Your team will receive a set of guidelines, a camera, and 24-hour access to the Lab’s editing and sound recording facilities.

  • Each group will have 24 hours to conceive, shoot, edit, and finish a short film.
  • All final projects will be shown at the Media Arts Lab Screening Room at the end of the contest.
  • Prizes will be awarded!
  • Recommended team size: 3 or 4. Registration required for all team members.

 

Friday, May 18, 6:00 pm: Meet at the Lab and get to work

Saturday, May 19, 6:00 pm: Deadline for finished films

Saturday, May 19, 7:30 pm: Screening and awards

Group size: 30 students
$50/$45 per person (JBFC members, Film Family level and above)
