Film Style and Form: Six Classics of World Cinema
Can you call yourself a film buff if you’ve somehow never seen Truffaut’s great French New Wave classic The 400 Blows? Or what about Bergman’s Autumn Sonata, Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, Tarkovsky’s Stalker, Ozu’s Tokyo Story, or Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth?
- Get a taste of French, Swedish, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish-Mexican cinema in this class, which will take you on a lightning tour of filmmaking from around the world.
- Classes include screening and lively discussion.
- Taught by JBFC Faculty member Theresa Dawson.
