Join Our 2025 Oscar Ballot Contest for a Chance to Win Free Popcorn for a Year!
It’s Oscar season, and we’re rolling out the red carpet for YOU. Test your movie knowledge and predict the 2025 Oscar winners on our ballot for a chance to win the ultimate prize: a full year of free popcorn on us! Four runners-up will win four complimentary ticket passes and four free popcorn & soda coupons.
2024 saw the cinematic landscape roar back to life, with JBFC proudly boasting a remarkable tally of 90 Oscar nominations for films we screened in the past year! Notable moments included powerful Sing Sing Q&As—for both our audience and Classroom to Screening Room school groups—with actors/Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) alumni Clarence “Divine Eye” Maclin, Dario Peña, and more, celebrating the opening of Wicked with the Pleasantville community and local merchants as part of “Witches Weekend,” a special 35mm run of RaMell Ross’ Nickel Boys, a live Anora Q&A with Film Independent Spirit Award nominee Karren Karagulian, and an R.J. Cutler retrospective which included a preview screening of Elton John: Never Too Late followed by a Q&A with Cutler and his co-director David Furnish. Throughout the year, our programming showcased a diverse range of nominees, including all ten Best Picture contenders, with three more nominees (Sugarcane, Soundtrack to a Coup d’Etat, and The Girl With the Needle) slated to open on February 28.

1. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete the official entry form, providing your name and email address. You must make a selection in all 24 categories to qualify for the drawing. Incomplete entries will not be counted. All entries must be received by 11:59 am, Eastern Time, on March 2, 2024. Limited to one entry per person. Employees of the JBFC are ineligible to enter the drawing.
2. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize winner will be notified by email on March 3, 2024. If there is a tie, we will use the tie breaker question to select one grand prize winner.
3. GRAND PRIZE: One lucky winner will receive a Popcorn Pass good for one free large popcorn with every ticket purchase valid from April 1, 2025, through March 30, 2026. The pass is nontransferable and valid for the winner only.
