Whether you’re new to her work or a die-hard Varda head, don’t miss Varda by Agnès, which screens for one week only (Feb. 21-27) at the JBFC. A poignant and poetic memoir, it’s also the perfect prelude to Varda: A Retrospective, a limited series that kicks off Feb. 28, 2020 at the JBFC and continues through Mar. 12 with fifteen films and several Reel Talks—informal discussions after selected screenings—with various staff members, since so many of us here at the Burns are Varda fans!
