Austria, present day. Yoel (Ori Pfeffer, USA Network’s Dig), a renowned Holocaust researcher, is in the middle of a controversial legal battle concerning a brutal massacre of Jews that took place toward the end of World War II in the village of Lensdorf. His fight is with the government, but the murder took place on land now owned by an influential family of industrialists who are planning to build a multimillion dollar project on the site. Yoel suspects that their aim is to bury the affair for good, but he lacks the evidence he needs to prove his case. When his own mother’s shocking testimony is unearthed, Yoel’s commitment to the truth remains unwavering, but will he be able to tolerate the price he has to pay?
