When a rich socialite’s ex-husband and a tabloid-type reporter turn up just before her planned remarriage, she begins to learn the truth about herself. Based on Philip Barry’s eponymous play, the film’s star-studded cast features Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart, and Ruth Hussey.
