Recommended age 7+

In a small Mexican town, three childhood friends find themselves on different paths. Manolo is a reluctant bullfighter, torn between doing what his family expects and following his heart. Joaquin is a soldier, with a secret behind his heroics. And they’re both interested in the very independent Maria. Things get even more complicated when two gods from the underworld make a wager on who will marry her. Embarking on an incredible adventure that spans three fantastical worlds, Manolo must overcome his greatest fears and return to his true love during the biggest, most colorful celebration of the year: el Dia de los Muertos—the Day of the Dead.

Content Advisory: mild action, rude humor, some thematic elements and brief scary images
