In Mel Brooks’ outrageous sci-fi spoof, the nefarious Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) hatches a plan to kidnap Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) and steal her planet’s air – until space-bum-for-hire Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his clueless sidekick Barf (John Candy), fly to her rescue. Along the way, they meet Yogurt (Mel Brooks), who shares with Lone Star the power of “The Schwartz.” Can Lone Starr master it in time to save the day?
Please note that the annual Pleasantville Firefighters Parade will take place on Friday, May 29, beginning at 7:00 PM. Road closures will begin at 6:00 PM. The parade is rain or shine and we encourage patrons to allow extra travel time.
