Rosewood is the story of a small, mostly black, middle-class town in Florida during the 1920s. On New Year’s day the townspeople’s lives are violently interrupted by a lynch mob from a neighboring white town.  Ving Rhames plays Mann, a newcomer to Rosewood who rallies the locals and helps them defend against the invaders.
