Shakespeare’s OTHELLO rages to life like never before in a new production starring David Harewood (Homeland, Alan Wake II) as Othello, returning to the role nearly 30 years after becoming the first Black actor to play Othello at the National Theater, alongside Toby Jones (Mr Bates vs the Post Office, Detectorists) as Iago.
Directed by Tony Award winner Tom Morris (War Horse, Dr. Semmelweis, The Grinning Man) with music by PJ Harvey, this epic story of manipulation, jealousy, and toxic masculinity explores the darker side of power, rage, and desire.
Filmed live at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London.
Afternoon screening is presented with English subtitles.
