When no other nanny is able to help the struggling and misbehaving Banks children, the magical and “Practically Perfect” Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) arrives to bring joy into their lives. With the help of carefree chimney sweep Bert (Dick Van Dyke), Poppins teaches the children how to have fun in the mundane and inspires the family, including stern patriarch Mr. Banks, to learn how to appreciate what’s truly important in life.
