The late Harry Dean Stanton stars as Lucky, an old man who, having outlived and out-smoked all of his contemporaries, finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self exploration. Hoping to find enlightenment before the end, Lucky sets out on a spiritual quest guided by the quirky characters that inhabit his desert town (a supporting cast including, David Lynch, Ron Livingston, Ed Begley Jr., and Beth Grant). Lucky marks the directorial debut of acclaimed character actor John Carroll Lynch (The Founder, Jackie). In light of Stanton’s passing, the film functions as a dazzling swan song and fond farewell for fans of his work.
