Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox) sets his latest animated wonder in a dystopian future Japan in which dogs have been separated from their people and quarantined on a remote island. Isle of Dogs follows five chatty canines who are fed up with their isolated existence and are more than happy to help out when a boy shows up in search of his pet. With the voices of Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, and Greta Gerwig, this film is filled with both adventure and Anderson’s trademark dry humor.
