Join us to celebrate 25 years of the iconic Hedwig and the Angry Inch – the fiercely queer, glam-rock odyssey, directed by and starring John Cameron Mitchell.
With a blistering score by Stephen Trask, the film tells the story of Hedwig—an East German, genderqueer punk diva whose body and identity bear the scars of a botched surgery and a world that never quite made space for her. As she tours dive bars across America, chasing the shadow of a former lover-turned-rock-star, she reclaims her voice song by song. This is a story of queer rage, camp, heartbreak, and resilience. Come join us for the ride.
Ticket price includes free entry to the annual JBFC Pride Parking Lot Party—with food-trucks, a bar, a DJ, photo booth, and drag queens. From 5.00–7.00 pm at the Media Arts Lab parking lot (405 Manville Rd).
