Director Jose Kubota Wladyka’s bombastic multi-lingual romance concerns Haru (Academy Award Nominee Rinko Kikuchi), a Tokyo ballroom dancer who withdraws into isolation after tragedy strikes and she loses her partner Luis (Alejandro Edda). When friends coax her back to the studio, she develops an infatuation with the new instructor (Alberto Guerra). Haru must learn how to balance her grief against her newfound feelings while continuing to devote herself to dance.
