Celebrate Art House Theater Day with this special repertory screening of the classic 1976 comedy Car Wash.

It’s a typical day for the crew at L.A.’s Dee-Luxe Car Wash. Besides the kaleidoscope of colorful customers, including a flamboyant evangelist (Richard Pryor); a wacky cab driver (George Carlin); and possibly the notorious “Pop Bottle Bomber” (Irwin Corey), they have their own hopes and fears to deal with. Working at the car wash has its challenges, but the Dee-Luxe cast of characters get the job done in this classic comedy, set to a Grammy Award-winning soundtrack from funk icons Rose Royce.
