Q&A with filmmaker Ethan Fuirst

Ethan Fuirst was a JBFC Theater House Staff member from 2012 to 2017. Now, he is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn. His debut feature Can’t Go Over It (starring Taylor Trensch and Susannah Perkins) was filmed without access to power while backpacking in the Adirondack Mountains. The film has played at BFI Flare in London, Lower East Side Film Festival in New York, and Outfest in Los Angeles. His short films include Rumpelstiltskin (Outfest Award for Artistic Achievement) and The Victorias (The New Yorker Documentary). His one-man play Dance Dance Revolution had a sold-out run at JACK Arts. @ethanfuirst
