Batman

Tim Burton’s 1989 blockbuster introduces us to the origins of Gotham City’s fearless crimestopper Batman (Michael Keaton) and his arch-enemy The Joker (Jack Nicholson).

Ahead of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice‘s Sept. 6 opening, we’re bringing some of our favorite Tim Burton classics back to the big screen! Catch Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish at the start of September.

"One of the most interesting comic-book movies ever made, a movie that vividly illustrates where most of the others have gone wrong."
Mike McGrady, Newsday
"Set to Danny Elfman’s triumphant score, Burton’s first Batman movie will live eternal in how it irreversibly changed movies and turned Keaton into a movie star overnight"
Cory Woodroof, USA Today
