A Deeper Love: The Story of Miss Peppermint

Pre-recorded Q&A with director Oriel Pe'er

A Deeper Love: The Story of Miss Peppermint is an award-winning documentary that follows trailblazing performer and activist Peppermint across nearly a decade of her life and career.

Filmed largely with a single camera by director Oriel Pe’er over nearly a decade, the film captures Peppermint’s journey from the underground stages of nightlife to global visibility through RuPaul’s Drag Race and her groundbreaking appearances on Broadway and beyond. Executive produced by Elliot Page and Bob the Drag Queen, and featuring appearances from icons including Laverne Cox, MJ Rodriguez, and Sasha Velour, the film expands beyond a single biography to explore the vibrant queer community that surrounds and inspires Peppermint.

"This documentary arrives at a time when trans voices need to be heard loudest - Peppermint's story is both personal and political".
Aaron Sugg, Attitude Magazine
"Since her time on [Ru Paul's Drag Race], Peppermint has released music, advocated for LGBTQ+ rights, and built a legacy as one of the most influential trans performers working today. This documentary aims to cement that legacy, and bring her full, unfiltered story to the screen."
Josh Azevedo, Gayety
