2019 Silver Screen Circle Dinner with Michael Douglas

Silver Screen Circle members provide critical funding for our film, media education, and artist support programs. In grateful appreciation for their generous support, members receive a wide range of benefits, including an invitation to the annual Silver Screen Circle Dinner. This very special event includes a special film program, conversation with our honored guest, and a seated dinner in the Jane Peck Gallery. Depending on their level of support, Silver Screen Circle members receive two to six complimentary tickets to the dinner. Past honorees have included Steven Spielberg, Robert Redford, Ed Harris, Jessica Lange, Jeff Bridges, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

On Wednesday, November 13, the Jacob Burns Film Center honored Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actor Michael Douglas with an evening of clips and conversation with JBFC Board President Janet Maslin. We were thrilled to celebrate this remarkable actor who has delivered one iconic performance after the next, in wide-ranging films including Wall Street, Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, Romancing the Stone, Netflix’s award-winning series The Kominsky Method, and many more.
