John Pizzarelli and Friends: Jazz on a Summer's Day

Join us for our second annual celebration of jazz hosted by John Pizzarelli.

Featuring live performances and spellbinding musical films, this is the perfect way to spend a Sunday at the Burns. This special all-day event is part of our 2025 Sounds of Summer series.

Take 3 Wine Bar and Café will be open throughout the day! Join us at 8:45 pm for a performance by the Tyler Henderson Trio. This performance is free – come and enjoy great food, drink, and jazz.

This program is presented in memory of Maria Traversa, longtime Jazz Sessions Series Curator and cherished friend of the JBFC.

Through her work on our jazz series, Maria taught us how jazz music allows us to tap into a multitude of emotions, the depths of our being, and beyond. In step with the music’s originality of style and spirit, Maria was one of a kind, and we are deeply honored to present this special jazz program in her memory.
