Dance on Film 2019

Oct. 17–24, 2019

Our annual celebration leaps, pirouettes, stomps, and runs the gamut from films on modern dance and ballet, featuring performers from young initiates to some of the greatest stars, to a flamenco artist who is redefining this supremely traditional form. We open with the biopic Yuli—The Carlos Acosta story, featuring Acosta himself and a stellar cast of Cuban dancers. Later in the series, choreographer Trey McIntyre joins us for Gravity Hero, about his world-famous Trey McIntyre Project, and we continue our tradition of an evening dedicated to short films, curated by choreographer Peter Pucci.

Made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
