Community Matters Student Screenings

In addition to our regular Classroom to Screening Room film library, throughout the year we also schedule special, one-of-a-kind screenings as part of our Community Matters series. These FREE, unique experiences showcase new and upcoming films that tackle important, timely topics and are followed by student-led discussions with the film team and local community organizations, all moderated by a JBFC staff member.

Schools are responsible for booking their own transportation. The JBFC will cover the cost of up to TWO buses for under-resourced schools. Bus availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. All bus invoices must be sent to JBFC within 60 days after the event in order to be paid. This event will be photographed. Prior to the event, educators will be asked to return photo releases for all students attending.

Keep an eye out for these impactful events, as they tend to fill up fast!
