A Wicked Good Time Returns to the Burns

Wicked: For Good opens at the Jacob Burns Film Center beginning Thursday, Nov. 20, and we’re celebrating opening weekend with a spellbinding lineup of Wicked-themed fun all around Pleasantville!

Nov. 14–Nov. 20: Catch the Original Before the Sequel

Before Wicked: For Good takes flight, join us for a special one-week engagement of the original Wicked, screening Nov. 14–20. It’s the perfect way to revisit the story, music, and magic that started it all. Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, October 15. Sign up to our email list for a reminder.

Nov. 14 weekend : Wicked Good Fun Live Performance

Enjoy a live showcase of Wicked selections by Theater Prep students from the Music Conservatory of Westchester at Take 3 Wine Bar & Café on the third floor of the Theater. Specific date and time to be announced.

Starting Friday, Nov. 21: Pleasantville Scavenger Hunt

Follow the yellow brick road through downtown Pleasantville for a Wicked-themed scavenger hunt sponsored by the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce. Visit participating local businesses, collect clues, and snap photos along the way for a chance to win prizes. Keep an eye out for special displays around town—you never know where Oz might appear.

Saturday, Nov. 22: Meet Glinda and Elphaba in Real Life

Glinda and Elphaba are making a special stop at the Burns to meet fans and take photos from 1:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 22. A special thank-you to Mere Davis from Power Princess Party for helping us make this treat happen!

Throughout the Run (Nov. 14 Onward): Ongoing Fun at the Burns

    • Themed Cocktails at Take 3 Wine Bar & Café
Try Glinda’s Pink Potion (A twist on the classic French 75 with gin, rosé, and prickly pear) and Elphaba’s Green Apple Potion (A tart mix of vodka, sour apple, and lemon). Each drink sparkles with a touch of edible glitter—because glitter makes everything better. Available only at Take 3 Wine Bar & Café, open Thursday–Sunday.

    • Pink & Green Sodas at Concessions
We’re keeping the theme going at the concessions stand with Glinda’s Pink Pop (prickly pear–flavored) and Elphaba’s Green Apple Pop (green apple–flavored)—lemon lime sodas topped with a hint of edible glitter. We will also have a limited supply of reusable Wicked-themed soda cups on sale, so be sure to grab yours before they sell out.

    • Open Captioned Screenings
Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays feature open-captioned screenings (marked with an “OC” icon on our website).

    • Group Discounts
Discounted tickets are available for groups of 10 or more. Call 914.773.7663, ext. 6 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:30–5:30) to book yours now.

We’re making this final chapter of Wicked a truly special experience at the Burns, with months of planning and collaboration behind every detail. Seeing audiences come together to celebrate Wicked last year was such a joy, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back—and many new faces—for the next chapter. It’s the kind of moviegoing experience that reminds us why we love what we do. Wicked: For Good tickets are on sale now.
