The Swing

Q&A filmmaker Cyril Aris via Skype

In this “low-budget but high-impact documentary” (Holllywood Reporter), Lebanese documentary filmmaker Cyril Aris chronicles an upsetting story from his own family. His grandfather is 90 years old, bedridden, and very weak. With the terrible knowledge that a beloved family member has died overseas, the family struggles to decide whether to tell him. And what is the cost of this decision on his beloved wife? An intimate and moving meditation on truth, love, and lies in the face of illness and death.
