Paolo Sorrentino’s (The Great Beauty) most personal film yet is a tale of fate and family, sports and cinema, love and loss. In 1980s Naples, young Fabietto pursues his love for soccer as family tragedy strikes. But when Fabietto crosses paths with soccer legend Diego Maradona, he embarks on a journey of heartbreak and liberation that ultimately shapes his uncertain but promising future as a filmmaker.
