“Mother Nature has never been more inspiring.” (chef, restaurateur, and activist Alice Waters)
The winner of no less than five audience awards on this year’s festival circuit so far, and opening night of DOC NYC, The Biggest Little Farm is one of the hottest docs of the year—and we’re thrilled to be able to preview it before it opens wide in May. Chronicling eight years of daunting farm work and outsized idealism, the film is a testament to the immense complexity of nature and an inspirational story about a young couple who leave their tiny LA apartment and move onto 200 acres in the foothills of Ventura County to build one of the most diverse farms of its kind.
