Sustainable Nation

Globally, one person in 10 lacks access to safe drinking water, and in developing countries, as much as 80 percent of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions. Award-winning director Micah Smith’s inspiring film follows two visionaries who are trying to address the crisis by bringing water-poor Israel’s innovative approaches to the world. But water is just the beginning. The Israelis’ work highlights the connections between water, food, and energy, ultimately demonstrating that solving water issues is the start of healing the world.

This film is part of the Westchester Jewish Film Festival 2019 series.
