In Mel Brooks’ outrageous sci-fi spoof, the nefarious Dark Helmet (Rick Moranis) hatches a plan to kidnap Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga) and steal her planet’s air – until space-bum-for-hire Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his clueless sidekick Barf (John Candy), fly to her rescue.
