Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical Rent was a Broadway phenomenon. Set in New York City during the 1990s, Rent follows a group of artists and friends as they navigate love, identity, and survival in the face of hardship and the HIV/AIDS crisis. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the movie, directed by Chris Columbus, stars original Broadway cast members Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp, and Adam Pascal, along with Rosario Dawson.
