Primetime

Opens September 25

Director Lance Oppenheim (co-director of the upcoming documentary You Can See Everything) presents the story of “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen (Robert Pattinson) as he risks everything to make “Predator” the biggest thing on television. Accompanying him is his ambitious but often undervalued producer (Merritt Wever) and a naive aspiring actor (Skyler Gisondo), who acts as an underaged “decoy” on the show.

"Robert Pattinson wears Chris Hansen’s skin like a suit, affecting his selachian stare and unimpeachable insistence he’s on a mission to 'cleanse the world of an ancient evil'. He’s sharper than ever.
Hannah Strong, Little White Lies
"Inspired by a 2007 magazine article about the series’ grisly conclusion the previous year, it is the best and nastiest film of its type since 2014’s Nightcrawler: it leaves its audience simultaneously appalled and thrilled, and thereby grubbily complicit."
Robbie Collin, Daily Telegraph (UK)
