Q&A with filmmaker Celine Song on June 10

Opens on June 13—tickets on sale now

In Academy Award nominee Celine Song’s (Past Lives) sophomore feature, Dakota Johnson stars as a young, ambitious New York City matchmaker torn between the perfect match (Pedro Pascal) and her imperfect ex (Chris Evans).

The film is partly inspired by Song’s personal experience working as matchmaker. She writes, “The math is never going to work when it comes to love, and the contradiction of that is what’s at the heart of the film. If love is indeed our last religion, why shouldn’t we be anything but utterly honest about what love should be?
