A childless couple in rural Iceland make an alarming discovery one day in their sheep barn, and soon face the consequences of defying the will of nature. With Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) in her first Icelandic-language role, and from director Valdimar Jóhannsson, in a “stunningly assured first feature [that] will put the director on the map (David Rooney, Hollywood Reporter),” Lamb is a strikingly dark and atmospheric folktale.

Tickets: $10 (members), $15 (nonmembers)
