An L.A.-based, all-girl gang of boosters called “The Velvet Gang” (led by Keke Palmer as Corvette) make a living and give back to their communities by stealing expensive clothing and reselling it at a discount. Their acts of illegal “fashion-forward philanthropy” lead to an increasingly escalating feud with ultra-powerful and eccentric fashion mogul Christie Smith (Demi Moore).
