The Marx Brothers wreak havoc on higher education! When Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff (Groucho) is hired as the next president of the fictitious Huxley College, his enthusiasm for education is not passed down to his son Frank (Zeppo), who convinces Wagstaff to recruit two professional football players that hang out in a speakeasy in order to beat rival school, Darwin. As is the case with most Marx Brothers’ adventures, a series of misunderstandings leads Wagstaff to mistakenly hire two misfits, Baravelli (Chico) and Pinky (Harpo), who happen to work in the speakeasy. After finding out that Darwin beat him to the “real” players, Wagstaff enlists Baravelli and Pinky to kidnap them, which brings everything crashing together in the famous anarchic gridiron finale.
